1999.10.16 Firenze

To unfinished business: We visited the Marino Marini museum and it was worth it! one of our favorite museums in Europe. The museum is set in a reconditioned old Florentine church and features work by the Italian artist. Definitely worth a visit. After that we went to see the Medicci Chapel, and of course the Duomo.

Hay que terminar lo que queda pendiente: Visitamos el museo de Marino Marini y ¡Valió la pena! Uno de nuestros museos favoritos de Europa. El museo esta puesto en una iglesia florentina reacondicionada y contiene obra del artista italiano. Definitivamente vale la pena. Después de eso fuimos a ver la capilla de los Medicci, y por supuesto el Duomo.

Ne finigitaj aferoj: Ni vizitis la museon de Marino MARINI kaj ĝi estis bonvalora sperto! Unu de niaj ple ŝatataj museon en Eŭropo. La museo estas konstruita en malnova reformita Florenca preĝejo kaj ĝi havis la verkon de la Itala artisto. Certe tre bonvalora sperto. Poste la museon ni iris al la kapelo Mediĉi kaj kompreneble al Duomo.

We then went to rent bikes, with the idea of using them around Florence and then taking them the next day to Siena. The scenery around Florence is really something too look at, particularly on on the south side. Roberto took a particularly bad and stupid fall on the bike. Silly Roberto!

Luego fuimos a rentar bicicletas, con la idea de usarlas alrededor de Florencia y llevarlas a Siena al día siguiente. Los panoramas alrededor de Florencia son algo que ver, especialmente hacia el sur. Roberto sé cayo de una forma particularmente mala y estúpida en la bicla. ¡Que tonto!

Ni tiam iris por lui biciklojn por uzi ilin en la cirkaŭaĵoj de Florencio kaj por la sekvanta tago en Sieno. La pejzaĵo cirkaŭ Florencio vere estas mirinda, speciale suden. Roberto stultule falegis el la biciklo. Kia stultulo!

We got late to the Piatti and so we didn't have time to visit the museums, but there was an interesting sculpture exhibit (see above pictures), Lorena had a Coretto (a coffee with lots of Grappa) right outside. Then for some Gelatti, some shoe shopping, dinner and an early night.

Llegamos tarde al Piatti así que no tuvimos tiempo de visitar los museos, pero había una interesante exhibición de escultura (ve las fotos arriba), Lorena se tomo un Coretto (un café con un chingo de Grappa) justo afuera. Luego por Gelatti, compra de zapatos, cena y a la camita.

Ni arrivis malfrue al Piatti tial ni ne havis tempon por viziti la museojn, sed estis interesa skulptmontrado (rigardu la supra fotografiaĵoj), Lorena trinkis Koreton (Kafo plena de Grappa) ĵuste ekstere. Poste por Gelatti, ŝuaĉetado, vespermanĝado kaj enlitiĝado.
